How to submit photographs

By email scans must be High Resolution, ie
Resolution = 300dpi
Size = 100%
Format = .jpg
Please name your image file with your surname and the date you send it (e.g. SMITH01Jan2017.jpg). Include details of your photograph in the body of an email (i.e. not as an attached document) and attach your image file to the same email.
If sending more than one image file, name them SMITH01Jan2017_01.jpg, SMITH01Jan2017_02.jpg etc, describe them in the body of an email and attach your image files to one or more emails, and please dont forget to include your postal address.
By post please only send photographic quality copies of photographs (i.e. Kodak or similar).
Please include a Stamped Addressed Envelope (if you live in Australia) or an Addressed Envelope (if you live overseas) to enable return if not accepted for publication.
All photographs are carefully looked after and are returned after publication with a complimentary copy of the magazine in which they are published.
Family Album is also a lovely (and easy) way of letting readers know about your research interests, so if you have a photograph of your ancestors, please consider lending it to us for a future edition.
Homeless Photos we have a small but growing collection, and you are most welcome to add to it by sending in unidentified photographs you have inherited or rescued from op shops, etc.
